How do I use the What-If Calculator?

Introduce this feature to your Foreman so they can effectively forecast what their Bonus will be. Allow the crew to set mental targets or adjust accordingly before they ever set foot on the Job.

1. If you're not already there, head to go.per4mance.io or log into the Per4mance iPhone or Android app.

2. Click on "All Jobs" found on the top right of your dashboard. This can also be accessed via "Jobs" in the three horizontal lines on the top left of the screen.

3. Select the Job you wish to use the What-If Calculator on.

You can easily find the job by searching for the Job Title, using a Filter on the top left of the screen or scroll until finding it. 


4. Scroll down to the "What-If Calculator" and adjust the "Crew Bonus Estimates" by adding hours with the addition button or removing with the subtraction button.

1️⃣Total Bonus Pool: Total amount of budget remaining that can be turned into a bonus. This number changes as hours are logged in to the Job. If the crew goes over budget the number goes negative.

2️⃣Labor Budget: The total budget set aside for Labor for this Job.

3️⃣Remaining: The total % remaining of the Labor Budget that will be turned into a Bonus when the Job is completed.

4️⃣Hours Left: These are how many hours the crew can log in until they reach the Labor Budget. If they go over the Bonus goes negative.

5️⃣Crew Bonus Estimates: This is where all the calculations are made for this Job. In the example above it shows if only 2 crew members go out to the Job for 4 hours they will each get that amount of Bonus. The Total Bonus Pool, Remaining %, and Hours Left are now reflecting the amounts left over after taking into consideration their 8 combined hours.
